Basketball Recap: Morristown Central Comes Up Short

After soaring to 57 points the game before, Morristown Central was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They took a blow against the Harrisville Pirates, falling 60-29. The Rockets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-14.

Harrisville had a senior duo take command as Aiden Chartrand posted 17 points and Joe Shepherd put up 18 points. Shepherd's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Maddox Sullivan was another key player, putting up seven points.

Morristown Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Harrisville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Morristown Central will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Thousand Islands at 5:30 p.m. on December 28th. Harrisville has already played their next contest, a 47-38 loss against Canton on the 20th.
