Basketball Recap: Tremont Takes a Loss

Tremont lost against Thrasher back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tremont Eagles were dealt a 59-21 loss at the hands of the Thrasher Rebels. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Andrew Curtis was Tremont's leading scorer, having posted 11 points. Caleb Neal took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Tremont's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Thrasher, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tremont will square off against Tupelo Christian Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Thrasher, they will challenge Baldwyn at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Thrasher's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
