Baseball Recap: Central Private Comes Up Short

Central Private fell victim to Northlake Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northlake Christian Wolverines. That makes it the first time this season the Redhawks have let down their home crowd.

Central Private's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Northlake Christian, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-4-1 record.

Central Private and Northlake Christian's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Central Private will challenge Archbishop Hannan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, a squad that's only allowed 3.45 runs per game. Central Private will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Similarly, Northlake Christian and Pearl River (who has only given up 3.11 runs per game) will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
