Basketball Recap: Veritas Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Veritas Academy lost against Westbury Christian back in March of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Veritas Academy was outmatched by Westbury Christian and fell 57-29. The contest marked Veritas Academy's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Veritas Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dominic Clark, who posted nine points and five rebounds. Clark has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Perry Kinane, who put up eight points and five boards.

Veritas Academy dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Westbury Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Veritas Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-59 loss against St. Thomas Episcopal on the 22nd. As for Westbury Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 83-60 defeat against Houston Christian on the 25th.
