Chaminade-Madonna won the last time they faced Nova and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Lions put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 16-6 win. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.

Chaminade-Madonna's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Nova, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Looking ahead, Chaminade-Madonna will be playing at home against Stoneman Douglas at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Nova, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 16-4 victory against Plantation on the 10th.
