They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Dieterich Movin Maroons 5-3. This was payback for the Vandals, who suffered a 9-8 loss the last time these two teams met.

Qwentyn Stombaugh was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Jones, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.
