Softball Recap: Kenmore West Comes Up Short

Kenmore West managed to slip by Mount St. Mary Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Blue Devils lost 9-2 to the Thunder on Tuesday. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunder apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Kenmore West saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Foglia, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Kenmore West and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Mount St. Mary Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Kenmore West and Mount St. Mary Academy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Blue Devils are set to take on their familiar foe Lockport at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mount St. Mary Academy will face off against rival St. Mary's at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
