Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association extended their winning streak to ten games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Ryann Owensby. The Patriots walked away with a 2-0 win over the Catholic Crusaders on Friday thanks in part to Owensby, who had 14 assists and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last nine games she's played dating back to last season.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association will head out to square off against Lynchburg HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Catholic, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Green Run at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
