Volleyball Recap: McClatchy Takes a Loss

McClatchy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Antelope Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 1st.

McClatchy couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Antelope a tough time in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 28-30, 27-25, 25-19.

Antelope found their leader in freshman Anthony Ehly, who had three digs and two aces. Ehly also set a new season-high mark in assists with 29.

McClatchy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Antelope, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-13.

As of now, neither McClatchy nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
