Basketball Recap: Richwoods Takes a Loss

If Richwoods was riding high fresh off their 55-10 takedown of Urbana last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Richwoods Knights were dealt a 69-36 loss at the hands of the Peoria Notre Dame Irish on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Irish: they've now lost seven in a row.

Richwoods' loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Peoria Notre Dame, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.

Richwoods will be taking part in a tournament against Milwaukee Academy of Science at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Peoria Notre Dame, they will take on Saint Ignatius College Prep at 12:15 p.m. on Monday.
