Basketball Recap: Carney-Nadeau Comes Up Short

Carney-Nadeau was the 45-42 winner over Superior Central when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Carney-Nadeau Wolves fell to the Superior Central Cougars 55-50. The Wolves' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Carney-Nadeau's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Superior Central, the win snapped their losing streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Engadine the next time they take the court. Carney-Nadeau will host Engadine at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Superior Central will host them at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
