Soccer Recap: Pilot Point Takes a Loss

Pilot Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Panther Creek Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 661st, while the Panthers are ranked 279th).

Pilot Point's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Panther Creek, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Aubrey the next time they take the pitch. Pilot Point will head out to face Aubrey at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Panther Creek will host them at 10:00 a.m. on February 8th.
