Three-time champion Montverde Academy headlines girls field at Chipotle Nationals

Eagles joined by IMG Academy, Westtown, Oak Cliff Faith Family at April 3-5 event.

Three-time reigning champion Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) headlines the four-team field at the 2025 Chipotle Nationals high school girls basketball tournament.

The field was announced Thursday and also features IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), Westtown (West Chester, Pa.) and Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy (Dallas, Texas). The girls action will take place alongside the boys tournament on April 4-5 at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Indiana.

Montverde Academy has won the past three events, beating IMG Academy 61-53 in the 2024 championship game behind 17 points from Ohio State standout and MaxPreps National Player of the Year Jaloni Cambridge.

The defending champion Eagles take on Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy on Friday, April 4 in one semifinal while IMG Academy and Westtown square off in the other. The winners meet at 10 a.m. ET for the title.

10 a.m. — Girls championship, ESPN2

This year's field features 10 players committed to Power 5 schools.

Montverde Academy is led by MaxPreps National Player of the Year finalist junior Saniyah Hall, South Carolina commit Agot Makeer, Texas pledge Aaliyah Crump, Holland Harris (Clemson) and Lourdes Da Silva Costa, who is headed to Alabama.



IMG Academy features Tennessee commit Deniya Prawl, Stanford pledge Lara Somfai, Kelis Fisher (UConn), Nylah Wilson (Auburn), Manuella Alves (Illinois) and junior Kelsi Andrews.

Westtown, which won its fourth straight PAISIAA title, is led by sophomore sensations Jordyn Palmer and Jessie Moses.

Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy is led by Alabama commit Joy Egbuna, junior Amari Byles, junior Amayah Garcia and sophomore Finley Chastain, who played last season at Montverde and came up big for the Eagles in a 79-78 win over then-No. 1 Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.).
