Softball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Trinity Christian Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Bishop Snyder Cardinals by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Conquerors of the 8-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Trinity Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arianna Menendez, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Trinity Christian Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-7 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.67 runs. As for Bishop Snyder, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Trinity Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Snyder, they will face off against Baldwin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
