Basketball Game Preview: Crooked Oak Ruf-Nex vs. Dickson Comets

Crooked Oak is 0-4 against Dickson since February of 2016 but things could change on Saturday. The Ruf-Nex will look to defend their home court against the Comets at 6:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Crooked Oak's tournament run continued when they took on Lafayette on Monday. The Ruf-Nex were beaten by the Fighting Irish 67-25. While losing is never fun, the Ruf-Nex can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 369th in Oklahoma, while the Fighting Irish are ranked 20th in Missouri).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 42-12, which was the final score in Dickson's tilt against Ada two weeks ago. The game marked the Comets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Crooked Oak's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Dickson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
