Pleasant Valley is 9-0-1 against East Stroudsburg North since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bears will face off against the Timberwolves at 4:00 p.m. Pleasant Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Pleasant Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Bethlehem Catholic and fell 7-6. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brianca Pridham was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Maddie Abbatiello, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, East Stroudsburg North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Whitehall, falling 18-2.

East Stroudsburg North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis McAteer, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. That double was McAteer's first of the season.

East Stroudsburg North's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Pleasant Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

East Stroudsburg North's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Pleasant Valley has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.2 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for East Stroudsburg North, though, as they've been averaging only 3.8 strikeouts. Will Pleasant Valley keep running through batters, or will the Timberwolves buck the trend?

Everything went Pleasant Valley's way against East Stroudsburg North when the teams last played back in March, as Pleasant Valley made off with a 15-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
