Soccer Recap: Lee Takes a Loss

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Grand River Prep. If Lee were looking for revenge after losing 4-1 to Grand River Prep when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Grand River Prep, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Lee will square off against Muskegon Catholic Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grand River Prep, they will challenge Potter's House Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Potter's House Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Grand River Prep surely won't give up without a fight.
