Melba waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They snuck past the Nampa Christian Trojans with a 23-18 win. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Trojans are ranked 105th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Melba's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. As for Nampa Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Melba will head out on the road to face off against Parma at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Parma will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Melba surely won't give up without a fight. As for Nampa Christian, they will challenge The Ambrose School at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Nampa Christian is facing The Ambrose School at the right time seeing as The Ambrose School is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
