LEE's tournament run continued when they took on Cole on Saturday. The LEE Volunteers took down the Cole Cougars 60-41.

Rosanelly Pastrano was her usual excellent self, going 13 for 20 en route to 32 points plus eight rebounds and five assists. What's more, she also posted a 65% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in November of 2023. Nena Alvarado was another key player, scoring eight points along with nine rebounds and four steals.

Aysia Gholston and Avaya Brundidge certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Gholston almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds, while Brundidge posted 13 points in addition to two steals.

LEE has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Cole, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

LEE wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-35 victory against Taft on the 11th. As for Cole, they will venture away from home to face off against Veterans Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cole is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
