Three Rivers Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Korba Posts Huge Game in 35-28 Win

Starting off the list is Peru's Isaiah Korba, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Korba rushed for 210 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Peru's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-5. Korba will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Maconaquah on Friday.

Brock Shank and Co. Win Third in a Row

Northwestern picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brock Shank. Northfield had no answer to Shank as he threw for 378 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 15.8 yards per attempt. Shank is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played.

If the past is any indication, Shank could be in store for another big game when he takes on Benton Central on Friday. Shank threw for 299 yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Bison duked it out back in September of 2023.

Noah Baldwin Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Noah Baldwin posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 228 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (109.8) per game.

Wabash's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7. Baldwin and Wabash will square off against Alexandria-Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

While Owen Enyeart delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Southwood. Despite the defeat, Enyeart was still balling out as he made 11 total tackles. His longest reception was for an incredible 85 yards.

Southwood is on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9. They and Triton are set to duel on Friday.

Another Game with at Least Three Passing Touchdowns from Aiden Robinson

Robinson showed up in a big way, throwing for 339 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. He's now once again averaging 300+ passing yards (301.6) per game. Robinson is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season.

Maconaquah pushed their record up to 8-0-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Peru at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
