 After two games on the road, Jeffersonville is heading back home. They will take on the Sacred Heart Valkyries at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Sacred Heart took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Jeffersonville, who comes in off a win.
 On Tuesday, Jeffersonville got the win against Fern Creek  by a conclusive  13-7. That's two games straight that Jeffersonville has won by  exactly six  runs.
  Emma Borders spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned  (and three unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up nine Ks.
 At the plate, Jeffersonville let  Brookelyn Miles and  Aubrey Cannon loose on the outfield. Miles  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and four  RBI, while  Cannon  went 3-for-5 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Ashlyn McClure, who  went 4-for-4 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Sacred Heart's offense. They fell just short of East Jessamine by a score of  1-0 on Saturday. The  matchup marked that first time this season in which Sacred Heart was not able to get on the board.
 Jeffersonville's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Sacred Heart, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-3.
 Jeffersonville was able to grind out a solid  win over Sacred Heart when the teams last played  back in March of 2023, winning  7-3. Does  Jeffersonville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sacred Heart turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
