Volleyball Game Preview: Pickerington North Panthers vs. Westerville Central Warhawks

The Pickerington North Panthers will square off against the Westerville Central Warhawks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Pickerington North is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Thomas Worthington just ended the team's ten-game winning streak last Monday. They fell just short of the CARDINALS by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Westerville Central had no problem doing just that on Monday. They blew past the Pacers 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warhawks.

While Westerville Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-15.

Pickerington North's loss dropped their record down to 20-2. As for Westerville Central, their victory bumped their record up to 4-19.

Pickerington North skirted past Westerville Central 3-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2022. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Warhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
