Softball Recap: Milford Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Milford's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Lebanon Warriors on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Milford saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Varner, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Milford's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Lebanon, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milford will square off against Kings at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lebanon, they will head out on the road to face off against Little Miami at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
