Basketball Recap: Petrolia Comes Up Short

Petrolia and Albany squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Petrolia had to settle for second. They took a 46-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Albany Lions. The Pirates have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Petrolia's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Albany, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Petrolia nor Albany have any future games scheduled.
