Recap: Frontier STEM vs. Training Center Christian
Frontier STEM were the 52-44 winner over Training Center Christian when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Frontier STEM was dealt a 75-39 loss at the hands of Training Center Christian on Thursday. Frontier STEM was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-18.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Training Center Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Creed Lopez, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Lopez has scored at least 25% of Training Center Christian's points. Andrew Bryan was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 19 rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Frontier STEM and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Training Center Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frontier STEM will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ozanam at 5:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Training Center Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against The Daniel Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
