Preview: Manzanola vs. Colorado School for the Deaf Blind

Manzanola will challenge Colorado School for the Deaf Blind on the road at 3:00 PM on Friday. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps national rankings predict a close match.

Manzanola gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last week. They managed a somewhat close 35-30 win over Eads. No one had a better game by the numbers than senior Dominic Martinez, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 187 yards and 2 touchdowns. In fact, with 15 tackles Martinez was a force on both sides of the ball.

Meanwhile, Colorado School for the Deaf Blind had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They were given a punishing 27-62 loss at the hands of Weldon Valley. Colorado School for the Deaf Blind were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 14-35.

Manzanola's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Colorado School for the Deaf Blind's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Manzanola can add another positive mark to their record or if Colorado School for the Deaf Blind can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Manzanola's step.
