Basketball Game Preview: Meadowcreek Mustangs vs. Parkview Panthers

Meadowcreek hasn't had much luck against Parkview recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Meadowcreek Mustangs will welcome the Parkview Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Meadowcreek is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They were dealt a 63-28 defeat at the hands of Brookwood. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 461st, while the Broncos are ranked 193rd).

Parkview has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-36 heartbreaker at the hands of North Gwinnett.

Parkview's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Meadowcreek, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-19.

Meadowcreek was dealt a bruising 72-21 loss at the hands of Parkview in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Parkview's Kennedi Benton, who went 9 of 13 en route to 28 points and six steals.
