Baseball Recap: Pullman Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

Pullman waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Rogers Pirates by a score of 9-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-2 on Thursday.

Pullman pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Rogers, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pullman will challenge Lakeside at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.67 runs per game on average), something the Greyhounds will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Rogers, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Central at 3:00 p.m. on the 16th.
