Basketball Recap: Rochester Takes a Loss

Rochester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were beaten by the Laurel Spartans 77-50. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-35 back in December of 2025.

Rochester's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Laurel, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rochester is set to take on their familiar foe Union Area at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Laurel will face off against rival South Side at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
