Softball Recap: Dearborn Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Dearborn's offense. They came up short against the Churchill Chargers on Wednesday, falling 17-0. The Pioneers have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Dearborn's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17-2. As for Churchill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3-1 record this season.

Dearborn is taking a road trip to challenge Western International at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Churchill, they will take on Allen Park in a tournament on Saturday.
