Basketball Recap: Houston Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

Houston won the last time they faced Germantown, and Mckenzie Percoski did her part to make sure it happened again. The Houston Mustangs blew past the Germantown Red Devils 66-43 on Thursday thanks in part to Percoski, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last three games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Phoenix Bonds, who posted seven points. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Houston has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Germantown, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Houston will welcome Arlington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Houston is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.1 points per game this season. Germantown has already played their next game (against Southwind), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
