Volleyball Recap: Conemaugh Valley Extends Winning Streak to Three

Conemaugh Valley proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Northern Cambria Colts 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Blue Jays as they're now sitting on three straight.

Conemaugh Valley was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (102-89), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 9-25, 25-23, 15-25, 25-20, 15-9.

Among those leading the charge was Jacey Crowe, who had 15 digs and one assist. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in kills (two).

Conemaugh Valley's record now sits at 9-12-1. As for Northern Cambria, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-10-1.

Looking ahead, Conemaugh Valley will welcome Ferndale at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northern Cambria, they will face off against West Shamokin at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
