Volleyball Recap: Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy Phoenix vs. South Stokes Sauras
Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the South Stokes Sauras. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sauras this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.
The final score came out to 25-5, 25-10, 25-8.
South Stokes' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ellie White, who had eight digs and two assists. Hannah Mcgee was another key player, getting six digs and two aces.
Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for South Stokes, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
