Softball Recap: Mary G. Montgomery Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Mary G. Montgomery and Baker squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Mary G. Montgomery had to settle for second. They fell 4-1 to the Hornets. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Mary G. Montgomery now has a losing record of 17-18-1. As for Baker, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-13 record this season.

Mary G. Montgomery wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-1 loss against Daphne on the 6th. As for Baker, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Fairhope on the 8th.
