Baseball Recap: Oakland Takes a Loss

Oakland suffered their biggest loss since March 6th on Wednesday. They came up short against the Siegel Stars, falling 12-5. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Stars recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Oakland got a good showing from Jacob Galinat, who kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Asher Evans made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Caden Wayman, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Oakland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Siegel, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Siegel beat Oakland by a score of 10-4 on Thursday.
