Soccer Recap: Bartlett Yancey Comes Up Short

Bartlett Yancey lost against Southeast Alamance back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Buccaneers came up short against the Stallions, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Bartlett Yancey can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 389th, while Southeast Alamance are ranked 177th).

Bartlett Yancey has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Southeast Alamance, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5-2.

Coming up, Bartlett Yancey will venture away from home to face off against Jordan-Matthews at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bartlett Yancey are facing Jordan-Matthews at the right time seeing as Jordan-Matthews are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Southeast Alamance, they will welcome Seaforth at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Seaforth will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Southeast Alamance surely won't give up without a fight.
