Softball Recap: Pearl River Comes Up Short

Pearl River fell victim to Chalmette and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 15-0 to the Owls. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Owls: they've now lost four in a row.

Pearl River's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Chalmette, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pearl River will square off against Archbishop Hannan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chalmette, they will challenge Salmen at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
