Basketball Recap: St. James Takes a Loss

St. James lost against South Lafourche back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The St. James Wildcats were beaten by the South Lafourche Tarpons 61-27. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Tarpons are ranked 120th).

St. James' defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-11. As for South Lafourche, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

St. James does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Lafourche has already played their next match (against Assumption), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
