Basketball Recap: Korey Collins' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Towson over Kenwood

Towson lost against Kenwood back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Towson Generals received a blow as they fell 55-40 to the Kenwood Bluebirds. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Towson's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Korey Collins, who posted seven points along with nine boards and four steals. That's the most steals Collins has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Vidmar, who scored nine points.

Towson's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Kenwood, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Owings Mills the next time they take the court. Towson will head out to face Owings Mills at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Kenwood will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
