Volleyball Game Preview: Kewaunee Storm vs. Sturgeon Bay Clippers

The Kewaunee Storm will challenge the Sturgeon Bay Clippers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Kewaunee saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Storm in their meetings with the Blazers: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Sturgeon Bay had just enough and edged out Peshtigo 3-2 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Clippers have posted against the Bulldogs since October 16, 2018.

Sturgeon Bay had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 20-25, 25-20, 25-19, 15-12.

Kewaunee's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Sturgeon Bay, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-25.

Kewaunee took their win against Sturgeon Bay in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Storm repeat their success, or do the Clippers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
