Softball Recap: Seaholm/Groves Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Seaholm/Groves had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes with a sharp 21-4 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Maples, who have now won seven games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Seaholm/Groves' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.

Seaholm/Groves didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-5 defeat against Adams on the 14th. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Southfield Arts & Tech at 4:30 p.m. on the 27th.
