Soccer Recap: Alamosa Extends Winning Streak to Three

Alamosa proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by eight) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Lamar Thunder 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Alamosa sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Araceli Molina and Jayden Wubben scored both of Alamosa's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Alamosa's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matches. As for Lamar, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Alamosa has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Montezuma-Cortez on the 4th. As for Lamar, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Guymon on the 1st.
