Basketball Game Preview: Longmont Trojans vs. Legacy Lightning

The Longmont Trojans will head out to square off against the Legacy Lightning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Longmont will be strutting in after a win while Legacy will be coming in after a defeat.

On Saturday, Longmont was fully in charge, breezing past Greeley Central 68-31. The contest marked the Trojans' most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Legacy suffered their biggest loss since December 3, 2024 on Friday. They lost 71-50 to Horizon. The Lightning's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Longmont will have to contain Ari Harpring as he made an impact in Legacy's last game. He almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Jaedon Ward, who posted nine points and five rebounds.

Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Longmont, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.
