Volleyball Recap: Lowndes' Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Lowndes extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Kalli Ferguson. The Vikings walked away with a 2-0 win over the Houston County Bears on Saturday for which the team can thank Ferguson, who had 19 assists and three aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

While Lowndes won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-12.

Lowndes' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Houston County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Lowndes will venture away from home to challenge Veterans at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Houston County, they will challenge Columbus on Thursday.
