Volleyball Recap: Enochs Comes Up Short

Enochs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Turlock Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-10.

Audrey Mensonides went supernova For Turlock., getting 26 digs and nine aces. That's the most digs Mensonides has posted over her last five matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Green, who had 28 assists and two aces.

Enochs' defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Turlock, they pushed their record up to 22-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Enochs will take on rival Modesto at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Turlock is set to face off against their familiar foe Pitman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
