Baseball Game Preview: Point Loma Pointers vs. Patrick Henry Patriots

For the second straight game, Point Loma will face off against Patrick Henry. The Pointers will challenge the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Point Loma's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Patrick Henry's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Point Loma is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since March 21st on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Patrick Henry 4-3.

Phoenix Brant made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
