Volleyball Recap: Nucla Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Nucla was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Norwood on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs came up short against the Plateau Valley Cowboys on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cowboys from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-8.

Lantry Galley paced Nucla's offense, picking up nine kills. Galley got some help from Peyton Naslund and her 13 assists.

Nucla's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Plateau Valley, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Nucla has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Dove Creek on the 21st. As for Plateau Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Grand Valley on the 21st.
