Volleyball Recap: Rahway Makes It Six in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Rahway, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Linden Tigers on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Indians: when they faced off against the Tigers back in September, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

While Rahway won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Jasmine Johnson and Nyasia Wynn, who picked up three kills apiece. Johnson really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with three. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Rahway pushed their record up to 10-9 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Linden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Coincidentally, Rahway and Linden will both be playing Summit the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Hilltoppers at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Indians will host them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
