Alex Rodriguez gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
