Soccer Game Preview: Hollywood Hills vs. Northeast

The Hollywood Hills Spartans will head out to challenge the Northeast Hurricanes at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hollywood Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5 goals per game this season.

Hollywood Hills will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Stranahan on Tuesday. Hollywood Hills walked away with a 4-2 victory over Stranahan. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

They hit Stranahan with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ashley Perez (2), Jastney Scott, and Kamryn Phonesouksam.

Meanwhile, Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Piper, falling 7-0.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for Hollywood Hills, their win bumped their record up to 8-3-1.

Hollywood Hills took their victory against Northeast in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 5-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hollywood Hills since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
